Diversity Advisory Board
The Diversity Advisory Board provides advice, guidance and support for the continuing development of diversity programs in the NC State University College of Management.
Advisory Board Objectives
- Assist in acquiring private resources necessary to grow and remain a leader in business education by taking an active role in promoting College programs, cultivating donor prospects and assisting in development activities.
- Provide advice and counsel to the Assistant Dean and faculty of the College to keep them aware of the needs and opportunities of the business community as they relate to diversity.
- Participate and share in classroom presentations, meetings, executive lectures, executive-student interaction, faculty consultation and similar activities when possible.
- Assist the faculty in arranging opportunities for meaningful educational experiences with local firms such as internships, consulting, research opportunities and other relationships.
- Assist in the recruiting of high quality faculty by meeting prospective faculty for interaction thereby enabling them to better understand the opportunities at NC State, the College of Management and the Raleigh/Triangle business community.
