Sept. 3, Mon. Holiday, University Closed
Sept. 5, Wed. Census Day: Last day to register or add a course, Last day to drop a course or change from credit to audit with a tuition adjustment.
Oct. 3, Wed. Option B form Deadline – Non–Thesis Students. Date by which Option B forms accompanied by Diploma Order Request Cards are due to the Graduate School in order to graduate Dec. 2007. See Robin Carpenter in 4136 Nelson to obtain the forms, ASAP. See web for additional deadlines for this date.

Guido van der Hoeven recently returned from attending the International
Farm Management Associations 16th Congress in Cork, Ireland. He
presented two papers at the Congress; both were published in the
Congress proceedings.

September 13: Shakeeb Khan -- Duke (regular workshop on campus) , 3:00 pm to 4:15pm in Nelson 4210.
September 20: Don Andrews -- Yale (Triangle Econometric Workshop), 3:30pm 60 5:00 pm at the National Institute of Statistical Sciences (NISS) in the Research Triangle Park. The driving directions can be found on the workshops webpage.
October 5: Nese Yildiz -- Rochester (regular workshop on campus), 3:00pm to 4:15pm in Nelson 4210.
November 1: James Hamilton -- UCSD (Triangle Econometric Workshop), 3:30pm to 5:00pm and they will take place at the National Institute of statistical Sciences (NISS) in the

November 8: Matthew Pritsker -- Federal Reserve Board (regular workshop) 3:00pm to 4:15pm
