Student Profile
The Economics Graduate Program has about 170 students enrolled. Students come from all over the United States and about half of the students come from foreign countries.
Typically, we have students from about 30 countries. The Economics Graduate Student Association is an active organizer of professional and social activities. Office space and carrels are available for all students on assistantships and for many others.
We are proud of the accomplishments of our students. In three of the last five years, our students have won the best student paper award at the Southern Agricultural Economics Association meetings. Students are encouraged to present papers at national and regional professional meetings.
