Annual $10K Business Plan Competition
About the competition
Together, the Open and Undergraduate divisions of the EEI Annual $10K Business Plan Competition enable members of the NC State community to participate in the development of entrepreneurial ventures at NC State and to benefit from the entrepreneurship expertise of College of Management faculty. The goals of the competition are to:
- Provide an educational opportunity for students to expand their knowledge of the development of an indispensable management tool
- Provide an environment to encourage and facilitate the creation of new ventures
- Establish a stronger link between the entrepreneurial talent and resources at NC State with the investment and business communities
- Support more fluid coordination of entrepreneurial activities at NC State
The competition also aims to provide participants with:
- Access to the resources to develop venture ideas, fine tune concepts, and improve business plans and presentations
- Access to members of the entrepreneurial community
- Opportunities to network with others interested in entrepreneurship
