Graduate Course: Managing Global Strategic Risk

Overview of course: 

This course focuses on the risks executives must manage as they seek to compete globally and maximize value creation.  Through a series of case discussions and exercises, students are exposed to strategies for managing political, legal, economic, socio-cultural, demographic, and technological risks associated with global outsourcing, production, pricing, and distribution. The course emphasizes the world of strategic decision-making where decisions must be made when data is limited and technological and environmental conditions are uncertain.
