David Washington has posted an overview of the Assurance of Learning process for accreditation. This page also includes links to activities related to the college's accreditation renewal process. A brief explanation of accreditation of business schools is available on the AACSB website.
College staff to report back from AACSB Conference
Trudi Brown, our new director of development and external relations in the Development Office, and Anna Rzewicki, director of communications, attended the AACSB March 2008 conference on Building B-Schools: Development, Marketing and Branding. They will be presenting a summary of alumni relations and communications tips and techniques gathered from the conference at upcoming College Communication Team meetings.

Networking session with members of the Triangle AMA Chapter. DELTA Roundtable Session: "Project 25: Ten Years Later"
N.C. State’s Delta Instructional Support group has scheduled a roundtable session entitled “Project 25: Ten Years Later”. Faculty and administration members will discuss how instructional technology has developed at N.C. State over the last 10 years. The roundtable will be held in the Assembly Room on the second floor of D.H. Hill Library's east wing.

Facility Updates
Port City Java to open in Nelson Hall
A Port City Java coffeehouse is under construction on the east side of the Nelson Commons. In addition to coffee, cold drinks and smoothies, the café will serve fresh pastries and sandwiches. Port City Java is expected to open for business by early June, and patio seating is planned outside the Commons.
Steam shutdown in Nelson Hall May 11-13
There will be a steam shutdown in Nelson from Sunday, May 11 to Tuesday, May 13th. This means that there will be no hot water to warm the chilled water that regulates the building's A/C. On these days, cold offices, rooms and areas will not be reported as cold. Please open a window or dress warmly.
