Online Calendar, Presentations listing are new website features
Two new features were added with the launch of the college's new website. One is an online calendar. Faculty who manage workshops and conferences are encouraged to submit upcoming meetings to the calendar via an email to Anna Rzewnicki. Also, those who are advising student organizations are asked to encourage their organization officers to submit news items to Anna Rzewnicki for posting to the calendar. We will be adding RSS feed functionality to the calendar this spring.
Also added is a page listing college-related public presentations made by members of the college community. Those who participate in the college's First Citizen's Speakers Bureau, or who give presentations through their affiliation with college centers and initiatives or professional organizations are encouraged to submit information for this section.

Undergrads helping with College Marketing/Communications Activities
This semester, students in the two sections of BUS 465, the Integrated Marketing Communications Project class taught by Claudia Kimbrough, are working with the college's communications office. They'll be putting to use the marketing and research practices that they've been learning about while conducting focus groups, a website usability test, and working with COMSAB to promote a year-end event for students that also showcases the college's student organizations. Watch for more news and activities at their semester-long project evolves. And please consider participating if invited to a focus group or website usability test.
