Faculty reminder: Academic regulations and new Oct. 17 drop deadline

The Fall 2007 deadline for course drops at the 400 level and below has been rescheduled. The new date is October 17. Instructors are strongly urged to provide substantive evaluative feedback to students before the end of the drop period. ... more

This year's Open House for prospective undergraduate students is expected to bring more than 7,000 people to campus. Assstant Professors Learning Community - Oct. 25

This university-wide learning community was established in the spirit of providing mentoring to junior faculty, which many established faculty report improved their chances of success in working toward tenure. All junior faculty and post-doctoral scholars are welcome. This series of meetings provides information for faculty on research and teaching issues, and is a way for junior faculty to get to know others who are also working toward tenure.
