Meet by Phone

Need to meet with a few people but have not time to gather in a physical space? Consider a "meet me' call or a conference call. They're easy to set up. To set up either of the following two options, just dial the university's Help Desk number, 515-4357 [HELP], and then select the second option - the telephone operator.

'Meet Me' Calls

Tell the operator that you want to arrange a 'Meet Me" call. She will need:

  • One phone number (yours or one of the individuals who will participate in the call)
  • Date and time for the call
  • Length of the call

The operator will call you back with the phone number that all parties will call into at the set time. You contact the participating parties with the time, date and phone number to call. There is no charge for this.

Conference Calls

Same procedure to start as above, but the operator will set it all up for you. She will need:

  • Date, time, duration of the call
  • Number of parties involved and their phone numbers
  • Long distance access codes if university personnel are going to participate

The only charge for this is the cost of the long distance calls, which will be billed back via the long distance access codes.
