The College of Management offers challenging MBA, Master of Accounting (MAC) and Graduate Economics programs designed for individuals who want to advance their careers in the 21st Century's technology rich, global marketplace.
Our graduate students work closely with faculty who are known nationally and internationally for their expertise, are actively engaged in research and consulting, and serve on national organizations and the editorial boards of leading journals. Students benefit from the richness of this research and pratice-based knowledge as well as the diversity that their peers bring to the classroom from their own prior academic and career expeirences. Our emphasis on project-based learning is enhanced by the involvement of national and international companies with our faculty and students through our centers and initiatives.

Economics Graduate Program
The Economics Graduate Program enrolls students in master's and doctoral degree programs offered jointly by the College of Management's Department of Economics and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics. The program emphasizes core economic theory and empirical skills and boasts nationally ranked concentrations in econometrics and environmental and resource economics. The distinguished economics faculty have global reputations in areas such as agricultural economics, econometrics, industrial organization, international economics, labor economics, macro-monetary economics, and natural resource and environmental economics. Graduates of the program have advanced to careers in academia, government and the private sector.

Master of Accounting
The Master of Accounting program is a one-year professional program that prepares students to enter careers in public and managerial accounting, consulting, and other areas of finance and business. The curriculum focuses on accounting theory and skills, and also incorporates the study of information systems, business communication and ethics. Upon completion of the coursework, students have met the 150-hour certification requirement. Graduates consistently perform higher than state and national averages on the CPA exam. The program has extensive ties with professional service firms and employers, and an excellent career placement record.

Master of Business Administration
The Master of Business Administration program provides a solid foundation in traditional core business disciplines, preparing our students to become managers of people and processes in technology-driven organizations. Students complete traditional coursework in finance, marketing, strategy, and other subjects, and then focus on one of seven concentrations: E-commerce, Finance, Information Technology Management, New Product Development, Supply Chain Management, Biomarketing or Technology Entrepreneurship.
The MBA program offers innovative cross-disciplinary coursework and dual-degree options with NC State's scientific and technical disciplines. More than 60 percent of the full-time and part-time students have academic and work experience in scientific and technical fields.
