Executive Programs at the North Carolina State University College of Management delivers customized business education solutions for companies, built on the College of Management’s expertise in the various business management disciplines, and specifically the management of technology and innovation.

The EP Process

Each executive program is developed in consultation and collaboration with your management team, and matches our faculty experts to your targeted needs. The resulting business education solutions enable your company to manage your technologies and innovations, supply chains, and risks for maximum competitive advantage.

Our focus on the integration of business and technology draws upon NC State’s strengths in science, technology and engineering. The result is a college-wide curriculum with a strong integration of e-commerce, supply chain management, technology commercialization, innovation management and other areas that are vital in today’s technology-rich, global business environment.

Overview

We understand that while companies in the same industry may face similar problems, each has its unique circumstances that require targeted problem-solving. Using a six-step process, Executive Programs works with company leaders to identify specific problems that require knowledge-based solutions and then custom-builds a ‘best approach’ program that enables the company to achieve its stated goals. We start with one of following primary approaches that can be modified to meet a company’s specific needs.

  • Education and Training Programs – designed to develop or update an organization’s competencies and knowledge in critical areas.
  • Process-based Facilitation Programs – designed to guide a company’s management team through an educational process that includes formulating new strategic plans.
