John J. Brennan joined Vanguard, one of the world’s largest investment management companies, in July 1982. He was elected president in 1989, served as CEO from 1996 to 2008 and chairman of the board from 1998 to 2009. Brennan is chairman of the Financial Accounting Foundation, a director of LPL Financial, and a governor of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Charles Holliday has served as DuPont's chairman of the board since 1999, and was CEO from 1998 until his retirement in January 2009. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, chairs the U.S. Council on Competitiveness and is a founding member of the International Business Council. He co-authored "Walking the Talk," which makes a business case for sustainable development and corporate responsibility.

He has a bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University and a Master of Public Health fro the University of North Caroilna at Chapel Hill.

Alexander Cutler assumed his current position in August 2000, after serving as Eaton’s president and COO since 1995. He began his career with Cutler-Hammer in 1975 as a financial analyst and became business group controller in 1977. After Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer, he was made a division controller in 1979 and advanced through several leadership positions to his current role.
