NORTH CAROLINA CPA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Last spring, the North Carolina CPA Foundation awarded over $59,000 in scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to 47 qualified accounting students attending 21 different two and four-year institutions throughout our state. The Foundation hosts an interactive online application on its website at: http://csbapp.csb.uncw.edu/nccpa.
Applications open December 1st. Candidates are evaluated based on academic merit, extra curricular activities, work, and volunteer experience, and most importantly, a personal essay on the role of CPAs in society. Applications close on February 10, 2008. Additional student scholarship information is available at http://www.ncacpa.org/students
BOWLING PARTY
The MAC Organization is planning an end of the semester bowling party. The date is set for Dec. 17, at 6pm-8pm, after the CPA review. The cost will be $10, which covers shoe rental and unlimited games during our time frame.
BEC CPA EXAM REVIEW DATES
Be sure to mark these dates down in your calendar. They are now posted on our website: http://mgt.ncsu.edu/mac/current/cpareview.php
