CPA EXAM REVIEW TIMING

SERVICE RALEIGH
The MAC organization is planning to participate in Service Raleigh. Below is some information about the event, with a link to the website. Save the date Saturday, March 29th. More information will be sent out at a later date.
Service Raleigh is an annual citywide day of service started in 1998 by NC State's Student Government and Park Scholars. Each year, volunteers from the university and surrounding community unite to undertake a variety of projects, each of which provides much needed assistance to local organizations. EMERGING ISSUES FORUM VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

NET IMPACT
For any new-generation leaders interested in learning more about the Net Impact, te organization will be holding an informal networking event at Mitch™s Tavern on Thursday, February 7th from 4:30-6:30. Come and see what Net Impact is doing on campus and in the community, as well as how to get connected with a career in sustainability. Food will be provided. NORTH CAROLINA CPA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Last spring, the North Carolina CPA Foundation awarded over $59,000 in scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to 47 qualified accounting students attending 21 different two and four-year institutions throughout our state. The Foundation hosts an interactive online application on its website at: http://csbapp.csb.uncw.edu/nccpa.
Applications open December 1st. Candidates are evaluated based on academic merit, extra curricular activities, work, and volunteer experience, and most importantly, a personal essay on the role of CPAs in society.
