Volunteers Needed!....The MAC Program would like to start a new tradition every month. Every last Wednesday of the month will now be "Cake Day" in the MAC Lab. This day will celebrate the birthdays of all students that month. In order to make this happen, we would like students to volunteer each month to make or bring a cake for all to share. Kathy has volunteered to bake one this month .... please email Andrea and let her know if you will be contributing to our September celebration. Each student should try and volunteer at least one month from now until the end of the school year.

Mock Interviews
Friday, September 14 (Required for Job Seekers)
Information....Firms were randomly assigned to one of the seven interview schedules. Each student will have a 30 minute interview, which will be videotaped, and then a 15 minute interview critique session with the firm representative. The mock interviews will be held in the Career Services Center in Pullen Hall. To get the most out of the activity, please treat your practice interview like it is the real thing - ie., wear a business suit, be prepared for behavioral interview questions, and do some research on the firm. Keep in mind, this activity will not substitute for an official campus interview with the firms. Representatives of the firm are solely here to provide professional feedback. Business professional attire is required. The firms should have a copy of your resume, however, you should still bring a copy with you. Information about the firm you are interviewing with will be posted on ePack Thursday afternoon.
Friday, September 21

ThePrivacyPlace.org SURVEY
ThePrivacyPlace.org Authentication Technologies Survey
ThePrivacyPlace.Org 2007 Authentication Technology Survey is Underway! Researchers at ThePrivacyPlace.Org are conducting an online survey about individuals' experience with and perceptions of authentication technologies. The survey is supported by an NSF ITR grant (National Science Foundation Information Technology Research) and will help us with our investigations regarding digital identities.
The URL is: http://www.theprivacyplace.org/current-survey/. We need to attract several thousand respondents, and would be most appreciative if you would consider helping us get the word out about the survey which takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete. The results will be made available in 2008 via our project website (http://www.theprivacyplace.org/). Prizes include $50 Amazon.com gift certificates!
RESCHEDULED FALL CLASS PERIODS
To help those that will be job searching this fall, classes have been moved Wednesdays-Fridays during the weeks of October 10 - October 26th. Classes will still meet on Mondays and Tuesdays during those weeks, but the last half of the week is open for recruiting office visits.
To make up for the missed days, we will be rescheduling those classes for the same times (1:30-2:45, 3:00-4:15) on four Fridays throughout the semester. Right now, we expect them to be two Fridays in September and two in November. The November dates will be:
Friday, November 9th - ACC 519 & ACC 533
Friday, November 16th - ACC 519 & ACC 533
