Meet the Firms

The MAC Program hosts this four night event to create a setting where students and firms can network and discuss careers in public and corporate accounting. The event typically takes place in the early part of September and prepares students for the campus interviews they will participate in throughout the fall and spring semesters. Twenty different employers were represented at the MAC Program's 2007 Meet the Firms Event.

Approximately forty-five MAC students and sixty internship candidates participated in the Meet the Firms event in the fall of 2007. Students were placed in groups and rotated through the twenty firms in thirty minute increments. Each firm and group of students were given a thirty minute break during the evening to eat and mingle with NC State accounting faculty and staff.
