"A focus on information technology will undoubtedly distinguish students in the marketplace. Students who focus in this area are unique; they understand the accounting information systems in addition to understanding accounting in terms of debits and credits. Currently, such students are in high demand and often command higher salaries than the traditional financial statement auditor."
