MAC Fellowship
NC State Fellowship Program
As a part of the admissions process, applicants may be considered for Jenkins Graduate School's merit-based MAC fellowships. The fellowship program is made possible through a partnership between sponsoring companies and CPA firms and the College of Management's Department of Accounting. A fellowship may provide financial support for education expenses (up to $31,500 in 2008-9), and may include an offer of employment upon graduation.
Recipients of MAC fellowships are selected based on their scholarship, leadership, service, experience, presence and integrity. Finalists are recognized in combination with their admission into the MAC program, and participate in on-site interviews with faculty and sponsoring firms and companies. To be considered for the fellowship program, a student must complete and return their MAC application materials by February 1, the first of two MAC application deadlines.
The MAC Fellowship Program awarded fellowships to seventeen students in the class of 2010. Sponsors included Big Four and Second Tier national professional service firms as well as top-ranked regional firms and the Department of Accounting. Fellows in recent years have received offers of employment in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Greensboro, New York, Raleigh, and Washington, D.C.
