MAC Fellowship
NC State Fellowship Program
As a part of the admissions process, applicants may be considered for NC State's merit-based MAC fellowships. The fellowship program is made possible through a partnership between sponsoring companies and CPA firms and the NC State Department of Accounting. A fellowship may provide financial support for education expenses, and may include an offer of employment upon graduation. Academic support of up to $28,000 may be awarded.
Recipients of MAC fellowships are selected based on their scholarship, leadership, service, experience, presence and integrity. Finalists are recognized in combination with their admission into the MAC program, and participate in on-site interviews with faculty and sponsoring firms and companies. To be considered for the fellowship program, a student must complete and return their MAC application materials by February 1, the first of two MAC application deadlines.
NC State University’s MAC Program is proud to announce fourteen fellowship recipients of the Class of 2008. Sponsors included Big Four professional service firms as well as top-ranked national firms. Fellows in recent years have received offers of employment in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Greensboro, New York, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Richmond and Washington, D.C.
