MAC Tuition & Financial Aid
Students enrolled in the MAC Program pay additional incremental tuition amounts than other graduate students in the university. MAC resident tuition for 2009-10 is $6,376.00 per semester for 9 credit hours or more. Nonresident tuition for the same period is $12,369.00. Please see the NCSU Cashier's Office website for information on tuition rates for taking 0-8 credit hours.
Financial aid may be available on a limited basis. Long-term, low-interest federal loans including the Federal Perkins Loan and Federal Stafford Loans may be obtained. Fellowships and scholarships are awarded based on merit by the Department of Accounting and sponsoring CPA firms and companies.

The accounting department administers scholarships from CPA firms and local businesses for outstanding MAC candidates.

Graduate Assistantships
Assistantships are awarded to qualified MAC students on a competitive basis. Graduate assistants are paid to assist faculty with teaching and/or research activities. Applications will be distributed to accepted and enrolled students during the welcoming and advising session held in the late spring.
