MAC CAREER SERVICES

Campus Interview & Resume Drop Schedule

Office Visits

Before we get too much further into the recruitment process, we want to remind you of a couple things. Please do your best to schedule your office visits on the dates listed below. The MAC curriculum committee chose to move some of the program's regularly scheduled classes to other times during the semester, in order to accommodate the bulk of office visits which typically take place in October. We believe this arrangement will be convenient for both students and firms, but understand that firms outside the Carolinas may not be able to keep to this schedule.

Preferred Office Visit Dates:
October 10th-12th
October 17th -19th
October 24th-26th

We also encourage you to make career decisions based on complete information. Please be sure to attend all of your office visits prior to accepting any employment offer. Firms should be understanding that you have other office visits to attend before making a final decision. With that said, please do not delay in declining an offer, if you know you don't want to accept it. Some firms may withhold offers to other candidates until they've heard back from you. By doing so, you give yourself and others the opportunity to obtain all necessary information before making a decision. If you happen to run into a sticky situation, please let us know.

RESCHEDULED FALL CLASS PERIODS

To help those that will be job searching this fall, classes have been moved Wednesdays-Fridays during the weeks of October 10 - October 26th. Classes will still meet on Mondays and Tuesdays during those weeks, but the last half of the week is open for recruiting office visits.

To make up for the missed days, we will be rescheduling those classes for the same times (1:30-2:45, 3:00-4:15) on four Fridays throughout the semester. Right now, we expect them to be two Fridays in September and two in November. The November dates will be:
