Tuition Payment
Tuition rates and due dates are listed on the university
Cashier's Office website. Please pay all tuition and fees on time; otherwise,
your course schedule will be canceled. If you register during late
registration you will be assessed a late fee in
addition to your tuition, and your tuition and fees must be paid
in advance of registering. For those of you who receive tuition reimbursement
from your employers, that reimbursement is now considered taxable
income.

Graduate Student Lounge
The Graduate Student Lounge area consists of multiple spaces for graduate student
use including the MBA Lounge, commons area, breakout rooms, and lockers. For
security reasons, the Lounge should be locked at all times. You may check out
a key for the Lounge through the MBA office and you may keep the key for your
entire stay in the program. Your key must be returned to the office before
you graduate.
If you are interested in using a locker, you will need to supply your own lock
and notify the MBA office which locker number you are using.
Breakout rooms should be used for group meetings and study sessions only. Due
to limited space, breakout rooms should not be used for individual study.

Leave of Absence
If you are planning to take a leave of absence, you must submit
your request in writing. Your letter must indicate the semester you intend
to take a leave, the reason a leave is necessary, and the term you plan
to re-enroll. Your request should be made no later than one month before
the beginning of the semester and should be addressed to Director, MBA
program, Box 8114, NCSU, Raleigh, NC 27695, or emailed to mba@ncsu.edu.
Leaves are not automatically granted. The director will review your request
and send a recommendation of approval or denial of the request to the
Dean of the Graduate School. Official decisions are granted by the Dean.
In keeping with the continuous registration policy, you either must be registered
or on an approved leave of absence every fall and spring semester (the policy
does not apply to summer); otherwise, the Graduate School will terminate your
graduate program. See more information on registration.

Returning from a Leave of Absence
If you are returning from a leave of absence, call the MBA office
to let us know that you will be re-enrolling. We will send a copy of
the letter granting your official leave to the Office of Registration
and Records, and we will send you a readmission form. Complete the form
and mail it to the Office of Registration and Records, Box 7313, NCSU,
Raleigh, NC 27695. In about five days, a PIN will be generated for you;
contact the MBA office for your PIN. If you would like to receive your
PIN immediately, you may take your official leave letter to Registration
and Records and handle this paperwork in person. To avoid late registration
fees, complete these procedures as soon as possible.
