Applying to the Program
Application process
- Application Deadline Extension: April 21, 2008. Candidates will be accepted on a rolling basis.
- Complete the standard NC State Graduate School online application.
- In addition to the online application through The Graduate School, applicants are also required to submit a separate MGIM Application or Resume.
- Current IAE students should apply directly through IAE.
- Passport and Visa Requirements: All students interested in the MGIM program will need a valid passport and visa for traveling to France. Upon acceptance to the program, students can apply for a visa.
- Due to an inordinate backlog in U.S. passport processing, interested students should apply now for a passport.
- All U.S. citizens will need to apply for a French visa once admitted.
- All non-U.S. citizens will need to apply for a U.S. Visa once admitted.
Application Checklist
A complete application consists of the following:
- Online application form
- North Carolina residency form (if you wish to claim North Carolina residency for tuition purposes)
- $65 application fee for U.S. citizens and Permanent Residents, or $75 USD for non-resident aliens and international student applicants (NONREFUDABLE; no application fee waivers)
- Personal statement
- Official transcripts from each college/university attended
- Three (3) letters of recommendation (must include contact information)
- Recommendations can be submitted online through the ApplyYourself Graduate School application system, or
- Filled out by your recommender and sent directly to the MGIM Program Office
- MGIM Program Application or Resume
- Download a Word version of this form, complete it, and email it as an attachment to the MGIM Program office.
- Official GMAT or GRE scores
- GMAT scores sent to NC State University Master of Global Innovation Management program with GMAT code: D6L-Q0-48
- GRE scores sent to NC State University, code 5496
- TOEFL or IELTS scores (international applicants only)
- Admissions interview
