Suntrust, IBM executives to speak at 2006 Graduate Symposium
October 9, 2006 – Phillip Humann, chairman and chief executive officer of Suntrust Bank, and Bridget van Kralingen, global managing partner, Financial Services Sector, IBM, are keynote presenters for the North Carolina State University College of Management’s eighth annual Graduate Symposium, to be held Friday, Oct. 20, at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley.
Humann will present the breakfast keynote address, beginning at 8:30 a.m., and van Kralingen will give the luncheon presentation, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
The annual symposium also features College of Management faculty members moderating panel discussions of key business issues. Concurrent panel sessions begin at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. This year’s panel sessions topics include intellectual property, complexity in the supply chain, design thinking management, and biotech alliance management. The symposium provides business leaders an opportunity to network with their peers and College of Management faculty and graduate students.
