Ethics Case Competition to be held April 18
Workshop providing details scheduled for March 14
The 3rd Annual $1,000 Business Ethics Case Competition will be held April 18, 2007. The theme this year is "Business Ethics Excellence for RFID [in the retail industry]."
This competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students in the NC State College of Management.
Students interested in participating are encouraged to attend one of two March 14 workshops to learn of details and submission processes. The workshops will be held from 3-4:15 pm in Nelson 2406, and 6-7:15 pm in Nelson 2402.
This competition is a chance for students to test their skills in responding to current business ethics and social responsibility issues. It is hosted by the Business Ethics Society, a student organization in the NC State College of Management.
Students interested in participating must submit a business ethics management plan to Young by March 28. From those papers, he will select five finalists to present their cases to a panel of judges on April 18. The judges – business leaders and entrepreneurs - will deliberate and determine three winners.
The competition is open to both undergraduate and graduate students within the college of management, as well as any student enrolled in PHI 214. Students may also participate as a team.
