Robert Niblock, Lowe's executive, to present first '07 Wachovia Executive Lecture Feb. 12
Jan. 24, 2007 - Robert A. Niblock, chairman and CEO of Lowe's, will present the first of the winter/spring 2007 season's Wachovia Executive Lecture Series, hosted by the North Carolina State University College of Management. It will be held Feb. 12 at the College of Management in 3400 Nelson Hall - the Nelson Auditorium - beginning at 4:30 p.m.
This lecture series is open to the public at no charge. Parking is available in the Dan Allen Deck. [See driving and parking directions].
About the presenter:
Niblock was named chairman and chief executive officer of Lowe's Companies, Inc. in January 2005. He also served as Lowe’s president from 2003 to 2006, and joined the board of directors when he was named chairman and CEO-elect in 2004.
Niblock joined Lowe’s in 1993. During his career with the company, he has served as vice president and treasurer, senior vice president, and executive vice president and CFO. Before joining Lowe’s, Niblock had a nine-year career with accounting firm Ernst & Young. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
