First Carolinas Photonics & Optics Investor Conference to be held June 3
June 2, 2008 - Investors and others interested in the photonics industry are invited to the first Carolinas Photonics & Optics Investor Conference to be held Tuesday, June 3.
The conference has been organized by the Carolinas Photonics Consortium (CPC) with assistance from the Technology Entrepreneurship Commercialization (TEC) program at North Carolina State University College of Management.
This event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., in the Schiciano Auditorium at Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering in Durham, N.C. There is no charge to attend.
The following seed, early and growth stage start-ups have been selected by the conference organizers to present to investors at the conference.
- Growth Stage: Bioptigen, Semprius, Sensory Analytics, Southeast TechInventures
- Early Stage: InnerOptic, MBright, Oncoscope, Protochips, Selah Technologies
- Seed Stage: Biolume, Blue Angel Optics. Endls Optics, HueMetrix
The Carolinas Photonics Consortium includes Duke University, North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Western Carolina University and Clemson University.
