Roby Sawyers, professor of accounting, was featured in a CCH Tax News Headlines article covering Sawyer's testimony before the federal Senate Finance Committee's hearing on estate tax rules. Sawyers testified on behalf of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He called for the reunification of estate, generation-skipping transfer and gift tax exemption, simplifying planning for tax payers. He was one of several testifying at the hearing.
