Innovation Management

The College of Management has been teaching innovation management for over a decade. The curriculum is founded on and continuously refreshed through active partnerships across colleges at NC State, as well as partnerships with industry leaders, research centers, and government agencies.

The Innovation Management curriculum teaches students how to study customer needs and develop products for the marketplace with a strong interdisciplinary perspective. This approach creates products that are cost-effective to manufacture, appealing in design and functionality, and valuable to consumers.

The MBA Program offers two tracks in its innovation management concentration:

  • Services Innovation
  • Product Innovation
