M 110 Computer Proficiency
All students in the College of Management are required to successfully complete the M110 (formerly BUS110) computer proficiency exam. Completing the computer proficiency exam is a prerequisite for numerous 300- and 400-level College of Management courses.
Beginning Fall 2009, students no longer need to register for a semester-long class, but instead complete a self-paced review/tutorial (MyITLab) of the Microsoft Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel. Upon mastery of these software applications, students will take a test to demonstrate their competency, satisfy the upper-level course pre-requisite requirements and receive credit toward their degree. The computer proficiency exam is administered in the Nelson Hall computer lab.
