N.C. State is a school that definitely has a good combination of everything. From good athletic teams, to strong academic programs, it's located in a great city, Raleigh, there's a lot to do.
It's warm.
it's a beautiful campus.
it's close to the beach, and the mountains.
I just grew up loving N.C. State.
It wasn't a question of anywhere else, the atmosphere was great, the facilities were amazing.
More diversity, lots of people, lots of classes.
It's a big school but it still has more of a personal feel here I think in the College of Management.
The College of Management really is less than 3,000 students and I know from personal experience, that it's about the size of my high school was.
It's that big campus feel with a small home type of comfort.
It's like home. It doesn't feel like a big campus when on you're on campus because there are so many resources that are there for you.
To me it really helps being in a smaller setting.
I really thrived more than I did in high school.
It becomes a very tight knit group of friends, kind of a community within a large community.
More laid back, a lot of emphasis placed on academics.
There's a lot of kids here that are here on scholarship and they need to make something of themselves to make themselves have a better life than what their parents did.
People, it definitely comes down to the people.
People are willing to help, your professors, people on campus. There are so many resources you can go to.
We have top level professors, as well as technology. It's really a great time to be in the College of Management.
Taking advantage of the all the opportunities the College of Management has to offer, as far as different student organizations, the Entrepreneurs Club, the Accounting Society. There are over 300 different organizations.
Finance, marketing, there is a club and an organization for everything you want to do.
They have activities going on all the time.
Tons of fun!
The End of the Year Bash, fun in my classes.
Donuts with the Dean, mingling with the faculty, and with the alumni.
The museums downtown are amazing.
There's the football games and all of the social aspects of college.
I found it more challenging, it fits my personality.
Whatever has to be done to teach students, they are willing to make the commitment to invest in the money and faculty.
Being able to kind of have that mix of fun and education and future and the college atmosphere.
College is what you make of it and the College of Management offers so many wonderful opportunities.
Basically, whatever you're interested in.
the opportunities are available.
It'll help you get to where you want to go.
I love it!
